Crostini with goat cheese and figs/Crostini s kozjim sirom i smokvama

Are you Crostini fan? We simply adore this crunchy little finger food…and today was cheesy and fruity…fresh goat cheese and figs…with a touch of honey and thyme…little bit of lime….delicious 🙂

Ingredients:

200g goat cheese (fresh)

4 figs

Thyme, lime and honey

Bread (baquete)

Olive oil

2 cloves of garlic

Mix, in a bowl, goat cheese, finely chopped thyme, lime juice and honey. Try and season as needed.

Preheat frying pan and place bread slices slightly sprinkled with olive oil, as well as 2 cloves of garlic and 2 springs of thyme.

So you are going to aromatize crostini without strong garlic flavor. Fry shortly until get nice color. Cool down.

Spread goat cheese and ¼ of fig (or 1/6 if it is too big). Pour all over fig little bit of hone and decorate with fresh thyme.

Jeste li ljubitelj crostina? Tih malih, hrskavih zalogajčića na 1001 način? Mi ih obožavamo…danas u kombinaciji sa svježim kozjim sirom aromatiziranim limetom, medom i timijanom uz sočne smokve…pa ti prestani jesti kada je najslađe…:)

Sastojci:

200g svježeg kozjeg sira

4 svježe smokve

Svježi timijan, sok limete i med

Kruh (baquete)

Maslinovo ulje

2 češnja češnjaka

Pomiješajte kozji sir sa sokom od limete, medom i sitno sjeckanim svježim timijanom. Sve začinite po vlastitom okusu.

Zagrijte tavicu za prženje. Baquete narežite na tanje šnjite te pokapajte svaku stranu s malo maslinovog ulja. Stavite na vruću tavicu, dodajte češnjak koji ste prethodno blago stisnuli nožem da pusti aromu, kao i dvije grančice timijana. Na taj način blago ćete aromatizirati kruh. Pržite kratko, samo da kruh dobije malo boje. Ohladite.

Na svaku preprženu šnjitu kruha stavite namaz od kozjeg sira i ¼ smokve (ili 1/6 ako su smokve veće) te preko smokve prelijte malo meda i ukrasite sa svježim timijanom.
